Martin Wells - Managing Director / Principal
Martin has spent his entire working career helping others and finding ways, and negotiating outcomes for the best possible result. Having served the local community for over fifteen years as a Paramedic with the NSW Ambulance (repeatedly voted the most trusted profession) he brings with him to real estate the same credibility, professionalism, integrity and commitment to those he serves.
In 1994 he received from the Governor General the Australian Bravery Medal (Australia's third highest civilian award) for his role in a treacherous yacht rescue 30 nautical miles off Coffs Harbour, whilst a crewman on the Westpac Rescue Helicopter. His philosophy and ethos is always to go above and beyond, and never give up until the job is done, and done right.
His passion for real estate started around 15 years ago buying his first investment property with his sister, herself a highly successful owner of Brisbane’s leading Buyer’s Agency. Over the next 15 years he was to come into contact with numerous sales agents, and property managers, many of whom didn’t meet expectations, dedication, communication, or outcomes. He knew he had the knowledge, passion, commitment and desire to provide a REAL point of difference in the local real estate industry.
After a couple of years working at Atkinsons Real Estate, in 2011 the opportunity arose to take that commitment and passion to the next level and he bought that business, (with over 25 years serving the people of Sawtell and the Coffs Coast). Atkinsons is synonymous with Sawtell and the Coffs Coast. There are not many businesses that can boast that sort of longevity and credibility.
Since becoming the proud owner of Atkinsons he has pledged a personal responsibility and accountability to ensure that those who engage their services are provided with an informed, successful, satisfying, and stress-free property journey.

Courtney re-located from the Hunter Valley to the Coffs Coast region in 2011. Cherie Jurkewicz - Tenant Services Consultant
Cherie joined the Atkinsons team in 2013, bringing to life an enhanced & dedicated role totally focused on tenant services. Cherie's primary concern is to provide that vital link between the agency and our valued tenants. From the initial contact when enquiring about rental property, to application processing, tenancy agreement signing, handing over the keys to their new property, and ongoing inspections, maintenance, and finally vacating a property.
With an extensive experience in customer service roles, Cherie's passion is people, communication, attention to detail, and providing positive outcomes. We're confident her ambition, drive and determination, will lead her into a property management position in years to come.

Lauren Drake - Holiday Services Consulant
Lauren has been part of the Atkinsons team since 2009 and has found her niche in the role as Holiday Property Manager.
Welcoming around 10,000 tourists/guests a year through her vast portfolio of holiday properties, Lauren is dedicated to ensuring that their stay, and indeed impression on the Coffs Coast results in them returning again.
Lauren also handles all of the logistics of bookings, cleaners, repairs, maintenance, linen cleaning, and all the usual & unusual requests from guests. Lauren has such an in-depth knowledge of each property, and the local Coffs Coast area that we pride ourselves on being a pseudo tourist information centre. Her beaming smile, helpful attitude, and commitment to outstanding customer service are a credit to her.
